During the 2016 summer, The Provident Bank Foundation and Boraie Development collaborated to sponsor the return of the community affair, Free Summer Movies Series. Hosted by the State Theater, the movie lineup included the Extra-Terrestrial, Frozen, Babe, Monsters University, Despicable Me 2, and Aladdin. The series was set to run from July 12 to August 16 while the movies were to be shown at 10:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
The objective of the community event was to avail an opportunity for the young people to enjoy their favorite cinemas with their summer camp families among other groups around the State Theatre. Hiam Boraie, the VP of Boraie, expressed the company’s excitement in sponsoring the event for a second time as well as offering young people and local families a chance to view films free of charge at the State Theatre.
